Scheduling an Event
- Go to https://eventlink.wizards.com/ and sign in with the Wizards Account associated with your store.
- Click on Create an Event or on the day you want to create an event for
- Use a Template or Create Custom:

- Template - Pre-created events of WPN Programs such as Friday Night Magic and Prerelease
- Custom Events - Non-templated events that allow for full customization
- Create your event. All sections with an asterisk (*) must be filled in
- Title - Information entered here will be displayed in the Store and Event Locator. Example: Friday Night Magic Casual - Booster Draft.
- Format - The format chosen will display as a different color on the calendar view.
- REL - Rules Enforcement Level. Refer to Tournament Rules for additional information.
- Pairing Method - Select your pairing method here. Player List Only option for casual play is available.
- Scheduling - If left unchecked, the event will be scheduled for today. To schedule events in the future, please provide date, start time, and time zone.
- Frequency - The reoccurrence of an event. You can use this if your event is on a weekly, monthly, or daily basis.
- Create Duplicate - Creates an exact duplicate of the event you're currently working on. You can also edit and modify the individual duplicate by selecting the instance.
- Other Event Information - Input information about event costs, where the event will be, and additional information here.
Running an Event
- Open an existing event. Click on the event on the calendar, upcoming events on the left, or from the Agenda tab.
- Open the event
- Enroll your players.
- Players who have Magic: The Gathering Companion can preregister by inputting the code at the top of the event. They will become an expedited player that you can quickly enroll in an event once they are present.
- Players can also be manually entered if they do not have Companion by inputting their first name, last name, and Wizards Account email.
- Players who do not have Companion or Wizards Account can be enrolled as a guest.
- Start event.
- Begin Round. To print seating, pairings, and round information, go to Options in the bottom corner. Note: Player List Only events are only a list of players. No rounds will generate.
- Input Player Results
- Players who have Companion will be able to self-report their results through the app. Tournament Organizers can also override results. Results can quickly be entered by using the Numpad.
- End Event (Options > End Event)
